Jul. 18th, 2008 04:05 pmMy test is coming up soon. Another couple of hours. We spent the morning going through theory and term review, and we just went through a few drills on configuring a many-to-many dynamic NAT. I've been too busy to be online much; I spent all my lunch hour going through a practice test.
Speaking of which, I passed the practice test that our instructor gave us with a 91%. I failed the practice test from the CCNA book with a 75% today, but I reviewed all of those particular questions and think I have a handle on them.
I'm feeling pretty good. A little nervous. I just have to make sure I don't make stupid mistakes when calculating wildcard masks and crap. That and remember all the terms surrounding trunk encapsulations, LMI types, and Frame Relay protocols. I keep getting those mixed up. But, all in all, feeling, well, pretty good.
Do you know how cool it would be if was able to do something crazy like apply any of this to my current job? The more I work with this, the more I want to get out of the help desk zone. This is so much more fun! It would be so nice to have a job I really enjoy again.
