(no subject)

It occurred to me that I'm not going to be able to watch live election results tomorrow. Since I was originally planning to be in Grant Park with the Obama party, I figured for sure there'd be big screens with the numbers to watch. But since I don't have a ticket, I figured I'd just wander around Chicago with rileybear67 and take pictures instead. But if I do that, I won't know who my next president is. And I'd really really like to know that as soon as possible. Maybe I can buy a portable radio to listen to NPR. Or maybe, instead of wandering Chicago, we should have an election results viewing instead. I'll have to talk to her today and see what she thinks.

I'm beginning to think that work is just not going to settle down after the merger. At least I have Wednesday off. I made so much progress on the house last night while moiracoon was out that I'm looking forward to doing more in that vein, and to getting more stuff on Ebay. My auctions are ending today for the current batch. I'm worried that my tablet doesn't seem to be getting anywhere near to what I got for it last time, but at least it's money I didn't have before.
