I took a trip out for Chinese food with moiracoon this evening. We got there earlier than we might normally have since my manager let serinthia and I leave a couple hours early. Excellent food was followed up by a trip to Goodwill where I picked up a copy of 'Sondheim, etc. Bernadette Peters live at Carnegie Hall'. God/dess but I love her voice so much. The liner notes also note that this concert was a benefit for Gay Men's Health Crisis; I like her even more.

I have talked to folks at the neurologist's office and explained a little of what's going on. At present, my list of issues to discuss includes prosopagnosia, autism spectrum disorder/Asperger's syndrome, short term and some long term memory problems, distorted or absent time sense, and topographical agnosia. I expect to hear back from them on Monday since I'm not sure if their office is open this Friday. I'll call Monday afternoon if I don't have news.

Moiracoon and I are having dinner with my parents tomorrow, which I'm really looking forward to. Saturday is dinner with my grandparents, and that will be nice too, though I'm not as close to my extended family and I sometimes get a little uncomfortable with all the people. I've been enjoying getting closer to my grandfather though, and hope to talk to him for a while, though I don't want to monopolize his time.

As for the rest of the weekend, I think I'm going to work on the computer room, bathroom, and house in general. I'll probably have Friday to myself as Moira is off with her sweetheart Mocha. If I have time, I might work on more picture editing, or hardware sales. I think I'm going to try out this 'Papa John's' place that I hear good things about. I'm looking forward to a day to myself to spend on my own terms and my own timetable.

I have a lot of things to be thankful for right now, and a lot of missed opportunities to engender that feeling in others that are weighing on my mind. All of my friends, and all my family, whether those of the chosen variety or those serendipitously made part of my life by birth; you are loved. Thank you dearly for being there, and I'm sorry I haven't always been what I should be for you.
