(no subject)

I bicycled out to farm_cat's field today with camera at my side. The construction makes things interesting on the way west. The whole half of the road is still all torn out. At least the (short, vastly less utilized) portion east of my house is filled in with gravel nearly to road level. Maybe they're almost ready to lay concrete.

Anyway; I got there about ten minutes before she and akreaveter were leaving. I snuck around and took a couple dozen pictures before she noticed I was there. Sneaky puppeh! I only had one of the lot that didn't look completely dull to me, and neither of them were in it. Apparently, I don't know how to photograph garden plots very well. As I told my mom, I need to drive out with her when of the times she's working out there and spend a while taking pictures.



Those plants sure are happy out there! I'm not sure what these are; that's why she's the farmer! *laughs* But everything is growing so well and getting so big! It makes me happy that I've been even just a little part of it.

Her small natural produce business, by the way, is called Firefly Farm. She sells at the weekend farmer's market in town. If you're ever in the area, go see!

*woof* I pedaled hard on the way out and back and got some exercise. My legs were jelly! I had trouble getting up the stairs when I got back!
