Looks like I have this Friday off after all. I'm going to go to Akron. Does anybody want to go with?

New Wallet and Gummy Blob

I finally got my debit card for my personal bank account in the mail today. Whee!

I drove out and replaced my wallet at the K-Mart (Big!Lots didn't have any.) My new wallet is nice and all, but I miss my old one. It was given to me by Dwarf, a family friend, years ago. I think I was in high school. Though I went through a few periods of misplacing it, it was never permanently lost. It, and my key fob I lost some time ago, were the two oldest every-day-use personal possessions I owned, and I was really kind of attached to them. *sigh*

I mentioned I was at posicat's tea party this past weekend. I, being me, took a few pictures while there. Here is evidence that a closed up automobile does not create the ideal storage conditions for a bag of gummy candy. If, on the other other hand, you're trying to create a record-contending gummy blob, this is the way to go.





I'm working on getting some more stuff on Ebay tonight. My family is having a big get together on Sunday at my grandparents' house, sort of a send-off for No-LJ-James and his girlfriend who are moving to Michigan for school. I don't know where I'm going yet this weekend.

I called the hostel in Akron I was going to stay at and it was permanently closed. I'm playing with the idea of going to Madison instead. I may also just drive on down to Starved Rock State Park Thursday afternoon after work and hang out there through Sunday morning, then drive to my grandparents' place for the meet up. I'm sure if I bring the tent I can find somewhere to pitch it for a couple nights.
