Sep. 21st, 2009 08:32 amI spent most of the weekend sleeping about twelve hours a day I think. That's just fine. Sometimes you have to do that. I feel much better now. Still have chest congestion, but knowing me, that will stick around 'till Wednesday or Thursday.
The rest will be of great help today. Our ticket tracking systme went to a new version over the weekend. Looks like not only will IE8 not view it now (it's web-based) but it's even slower than before. And man, it's never been speedy. I have been waiting about ten minutes now for the list of unowned tickets to populate, and I am not alone. Some pages time out and won't load at all, according to the rest of the techs.
On top of that, I'm on my own today taking incoming tickets through eleven o' clock for both legacy $mycompany and legacy $othercompany since my partner on the $othercompany side is out on PTO all this week. Whee.
Another tech here in my office has started a firestorm by rebuilding the CEO's computer and, among other things, not moving all the desktop icons into the same places that they were on the old system. The time spent coddling the man is completely unreasonable.
Other than that, I'm feeling pretty good. Still no pictures (was too sick to go out), but maybe next weekend. And I have Ebay stuff to post tonight. And I got to ride to Chicago with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
