(no subject)

Well, I was going out to the power plant this weekend. Instead, I'm at home since my travelling companion, due to misunderstanding, is busy today. It's not a neighborhood I should be in alone with expensive gear. Damn.

I could have gone out to nekouken's birthday part with moiracoon. But I'm kind of frustrated and stressed out about not getting out for pictures, and I want to feel like I'm doing something useful and productive. (Happy birthday to you though Nekouken, and I'm sorry I'm not there!)

Instead, I've been cleaning up. I'm almost done with the bedroom floor, and that was a lot of crap! Plus, enough dust has been raised to leave me nearly unable to speak at one point. But the floor; so pretty. The dryer is acting up again so I am backlogged on laundry, but I'll figure out how to manage.

I had an offer earlier today, when I called my mom to ask about dryer repair, to go over to a friend of theirs' house who's moving to Iowa to play a game of Titan with five other people. They were about to set up the board when I called. I thought really hard about it, but declined, after realizing I had a pizza in the microwave, hadn't showered, and I still want to get more done.

(On a tangent, I was at said friends' house earlier today to pick up a push mower that he was looking for a good home for. It's less than a year old, is nice and sharp, and comes with a sharpening kit. Coolness. He also gave me some 1GB DDR sticks, so mocha_mephooki, I have some memory for your computer.)

All I have left now is under the bed, so I'm going to start on that. After that's done, I'm going to start working on the living room and dining room and stack up all the tubs of clothes sitting down there. Somewhere in the mix, I may just walk down to Shirl's and get a mint milk-shake since I haven't been paying any attention to what I'm eating anyway.

But I do really wish I'd managed to get out and get those pictures I wanted. *sighs*

I'm looking forward to tomorrow's trip with moiracoon to get pictures of an amusement park that's closing down permanently in October though.
