Mar. 15th, 2010 01:40 pmI might be going to see the shuttle launch that's scheduled for April 5th.
It's a 20 hour drive. I'd probably leave on the evening of Friday the 2nd, get there late-late Saturday, and stay through Monday's launch. I'd drive home, and probably get back late-late Tuesday or early Wednesday.
I'm recruiting company. It would be great if you could drive some of the trip. It would be even better if you could contribute some gas money. Half, just a few tanks, whatever. If you can't do either of those things, that's ok too; just let me know.

vandringar, who I (we?) might possibly be staying with. And folks, there are only four more launches left, including this one. I want to go early and make sure this happens; I don't want to run out of time for this.

Someone in the office I work in died of ARDS over the weekend. I only know her by name, not by face. I don't really know who she was, to tell the truth, though I'm sure I've worked with her before. It's...kind of weird.
