(no subject)

I was just told that I have to think about what kind of transportation I'd need to take if I end up having to go to our office by the O'Hare airport. That would mean that, instead of my commute looking like this:

* 5 minute drive to the train station
* 5:51 train to Chicago arriving at about 7:30
* 15 minute walk to work arriving about 7:50 ('cause I like to dawdle and look at buildings).

It would look like this:

* 5 minute drive to the train station
* 5:51 train to Clybourn arriving at 7:19
* Sit at Clybourn for 20 minutes waiting for a Northwest Line Metra train.
* Get on the Metra at 7:38 for a five minute ride, arriving in Irving Park at 7:43.
* Wait ten minutes for a Blue Line CTA train going toward O'Hare
* Take the Blue Line to Cumberland, arriving about 8:06
* 15 minute walk to work, arriving about 8:20

That sucks. Absolute suckage.

I need to get my resume up. Moira is going to help me with it tonight. I need to get it on Monster this week.

On the plus side, thanks to Moira's culinary talents, I'm eating what are far and away the best potato pancakes I have ever eaten!! Yum!!!
