(no subject)

I need to stop trying to multitask so much. Part of it, though, was that I didn't know when Juan was going to come to the house and work on my car. He told me that I didn't need to be around while he was working (though he does appreciate the company), but I felt bad going out and doing things while he was working on my car.

Posi showed up and brought me over to Todd and Serin's for their housewarming (part II) and we had a good time over there for a while. Then I thought I'd go back and check on Juan for just a bit and see how he was doing, as well as get some pizza while I was out. Juan was about ready to test run the car, so I figured I'd stay for that. Then it turned out the parts guys had given him the wrong alternator, so he had to deal with that and we stayed to watch his tools. When he got back, it was dark, so we helped him pack up. It all took a while longer than we thought, and I felt like I'd put a big damper on Todd and Serin's event. I try to multitask too much sometimes.

Thanks Todd and Serin for having us over. I had a really great time when I was there, and I'm sorry that wasn't for a longer period. Thanks too to Posi for picking me up and bringing me there and back a couple times. You are all wonderful friends.

My car does not yet work. Juan needs to get a replacement alternator (or parts to rebuild mine; whichever happens first) and install that. Looks like maybe this coming week. *woofs* Oh well. I'm managing ok without a car so far.

I am *sooo* tired, and I am going to bed. Grandparents' house tomorrow for a birthday for one of my cousins. Good night. *yawns*
