So many things to do, so little time. Maybe I can write a catch up post tomorrow while I'm in St. Charles.

Today, since my car was sheeted over in ice this morning and I couldn't even turn the locks, I stayed home and did a number of things. One of those things was getting through sorting and editing another day's worth of pictures from my visit to Washington DC in November of 2009. I'll post them tomorrow, but here's a sneak preview.

The Vietnam Women's Memorial is a sculpture consisting of three women (Faith, Hope, and Charity) in the uniform of combat nurses, as well as a wounded solider, held in Charity's arms.

I love looking at the list of search terms that have brought people to my pictures on Flickr. Just for fun, here's the list from Google for yesterday. The first number is the ranking by number of referrals, second is the search term, and third is the number of hits.

The kids here are giving me a headache. One of them is playing a game where when a flash-bang grenade goes off it makes this horrible high-pitched noise, and the other is watching a video on a hand-held device that sounds like the chipmunks on crack. I think I'm going to leave at 6:30.
