Mar. 10th, 2011 04:38 pmI dreamed about this long metal platform. raised out of a body of water that stretched out to each side. It was maybe fifteen or twenty feed wide on top, and the sides sloped down about that far into the water. Inside a crevice the ran the length of the platform, down the middle, were many people who were asleep upside down, hanging from their feet down into it. I was helping pull people up out of it so they would wake up.
From there, the Smurfs creeped in somehow. The people waking up were Smurfs, and Papa Smurf wasn't around. And we all had to move to a new place to live because something bad had happened to the old one, or the village was missing, or something. I was put in charge, but the first thing I did was spend a long time trying to write an inspirational message on the blackboard of the medium-sized room we then found ourselves all in. I wanted to write something good enough that, as we searched for our new home, the Smurfs could think about what I'd written there and be inspired to keep going.
It took me long enough to pick the careful phrasing I wanted for the message that the Smurfs had all left without me by the time I was done and I stepped out into the rectangular undeground passage outside the room to go look for them. On the way out, I saw a variety of bits of jewelery on the floor, in a pile kind of like the ones that
moiracoon has around to use as raw materials. I picked them up, thinking they were very important. When I got a little way down the hall, I met a man who told me that the Smurfs had gone by 'a very long time ago indeed'. I was very worried that I wouldn't be able to find them.

After waking up this morning (no, wait; it was actually past 4 when I woke up so I guess that's afternoon), I'm actually feeling a bit better. All symptoms still there; just slightly reduced in intensity. May the trend continue.
