Feb. 7th, 2012 08:22 pmI aced the art history pre-exam quiz today. Tonight I need to study for my Spanish exam tomorrow. I have clean clothes to put away and studying to do and I feel pleasantly ensconced in a strange sort of living-with-my-parents-as-a-bachelor domesticity. I also have music from Joseph and the Amazing etcetra in my head. Why is that? I saw it with Danae in Aurora a while ago. Some of it's kind of catchy.
I have three weeks less a day to have my paper topic (domestication of rice) and probably sources ready for Human Evolution. I should probably not worry about it quite so much. Still, I want to have something to send to the professor for comments this weekend.
I also want to write an email to my other anthro professor with some general questions and comments about class. I'll probably work on that while I'm doing gallery guard duty tomorrow, along with a number of other things I just put on my calendar.
I'm really looking forward to the point where I know all of the Spanish grammar and verb conjugations and just need to read and work on vocabulary. Sort of like achieving a black belt maybe? I looked ahead and saw that we'll finally be covering past tense in the next chapter.
Meanwhile, my test tomorrow covers things like ordinal numbers, demonstrative pronouns, direct object pronouns, and modal (I have to do x) verb forms.
===
I want to write something of more substance here. All my time that school doesn't use up wants to be slightly less involved things than writing in depth about my life. I often wish I was one of those people who can easily write up long stories about what's going on in their world, but I'm not quite. It takes some thought and effort to put them together, and I often find myself just reposting things I've put on Goolge +. But this place is still important to me. I intend to keep using it.
