(no subject)

There was a wonderful big thunderstorm last night. I woke up into a brief, terrified cower when thunder boomed loudly enough and shook the floor enough to make me think a car had hit the house or there'd been some sort of explosion. But we had rain, and that's a wonderful thing.

In an attempt to keep my car from getting oven-hot yesterday while unpacking, I'd left every window in it wide open. I guess I get to drive to work in a steam bath today!
