I bought a shoehorn at Ikea with Danae on Sunday. Its been an unexpectedly fantastic convenience.

Plus it looks like a cute, kind of demented snake. How awesome is that?

Mail is often late getting to me in this house. I kept thinking I should go through the mail on the front porch, but I didn't. A few days ago, my mother finally went through it all and put it in my inbox (she has a stack of them for when she does go through it). I finally looked at it today and found a jury summons for two days ago accompanied by the threat of a $500 fine for not appearing.

So I'm stressing out about that quite a lot and hoping they'll be lenient when I call them between classes tomorrow.
