I just got back from visiting my dad. I stayed with him for an hour or so. At one point, he was saying some things that didn't make sense, so I asked the nurse to come by, and she called a doctor who checked him out.
The doctor thinks that he has sepsis form the staph infection in his amputated toe. It also sounds like before this hospital visit, he took an antibiotic he was allergic to.

So. Still pretty worried about him. I'm going to go and visit after school tomorrow.

Also, with all the stressing of today, it was wonderfully dear of salixbabylon to send me LJ candy hearts. As well as things like that making Livejournal, a space I care about, seem a little more alive, it was just so nice of someone who I feel like I know only so peripherally to make that kind of caring gesture. Thank you. *hugs*

And thanks to everyone else who's offered your wishes for my dad. I conveyed them, and he is appreciative.

I had to unfriend a Facebook page last night; I acknowledge class warfare exists. They ended a post had otherwise had some fair criticisms of current happenigs in the Middle East with, and I quote, "Down with Israel, death to Zionists."
Woah guys; wishing death upon your political enemies, and groups of people in general, is really not cool. In fact, I'm wondering about how to go about reporting it as racist.
