Locally traveling dog

My schedule has been pretty ridiculous this week. I'd hoped to have a lot of time with my girlfriends and to work on school stuff this week, it being Spring break. But I also had jury duty to do, and work at the archives. I hoped my commitment to the court would be limited to Monday.

I drove to Lisa's place on Friday after school, then to Danae's place on Saturday, and back to Kenosha on Sunday. I wasn't chosen for anything at the court, and it seemed likely I wouldn't be needed for Tuesday, so I drove to Evanston. That evening, I learned I had to be at the court on Tuesday, so I drove to Kenosha on Tuesday morning. I was there for a couple hours and did make it to the court room, but was not chosen for the jury trying the case of this guy who was charged with stealing some trees.

I drove to Evanston on Tuesday evening, and got to see Danae's parents who are in town. Yay! This morning, I drove back to Kenosha to work at the archives. I'm pretty low on sleep this week, was feeling really anxious and stressy last night (Danae was a wonder in helping me feel better), and have decided I'm not going anywhere tonight. I'm going to catch up on some things and go to bed early.

Tomorrow I'm driving to Chicago to take Lisa out for a movie via a Groupon deal at the Vic. Friday, I'm returning to Danae's place to visit with she and her parents through Saturday. Sunday I'm going to an Easter thing with my extended family.

I'll need a vacation from my vacation. The archivist was nice enough to let me take Friday off, or I'd have to be back in Kenosha then too!

Fortunately, my car is getting better gas mileage again after Super-mechanic Juan worked on it.
