(no subject)

I've been largely away from the computer this weekend. Sorry about that! My girlfriend Danae is up from Evanston this weekend and I haven't managed to see her in a couple weeks, so we've been busy with board games when not seeing the local production of Shrek, and going to my grandmother's 80th birthday gathering. I'll write more, and catch up with people, later.

I have a couple pic-a-day pictures to upload. Here's one from tonight.

Danae pointed out that I don't have a picture in this series of me playing a board game. Then, as we played board games tonight, I forgot.

Anyway, here's one of me with one of the games we played tonight. She and I have a love/hate relationship with Arkham. She has a set with a few expansions, and I have just the base game. After much frustration with her set, we tried mine tonight, and it seems a bit more winnable. Maybe she just has a bad combination of sets.

Anyway, board gaming is something of an obsession for both of us.

I almost forgot to do a photo yesterday. Fortunately, I remembered just before falling asleep and Danae had her phone handy. Despite the poor technical quality, this picture possibly makes me the happiest of them all so far.
