Nov. 27th, 2013 05:50 pmWith all the craziness leading up to the conference last week, it escaped my notice that next week is, in fact, the last week of classes in my semester. Which means that papers are coming due. Whee!
This weekend, apart from going out to have dinner with my extended family on Thursday, I'm going to be writing and/or finishing two term papers. One is for Environmental Antrhropology, which will be an expanded version of my presentation. In fact, I have a paper written already, I just need to so some rewrites to incorporate things that the process of condensing it into a fifteen minute presentation brought to mind.
Then I need to write a paper for my African-American History class on Dick Gregory's "Nigger: an Autobiography". I also still have to read half the book, which I'm hoping I can do on the way to my aunt's place, though I may have to drive.
I also need to write a short paper on an interview I did, but the due date on that is a little later, so it's not a worry right now.
I'm hoping I can get this all done and have Sunday to myself. But if not, well, I'll at least have time after finals are done in two weeks! For now, I'm going to disappear into school work and family dinner for a while.
