Dec. 1st, 2013 09:57 pmSo I ended up not visiting my grandmother or my friends this weekend. I felt pretty bad about that, particularly about my grandmother since I'd specifically arranged a day to go visit. I'd thought that most of the big stuff would be done for the near future. I neglected to factor in the fact that the end of the semester is coming up and term papers are due on Monday and Tuesday.
So I spent most of the weekend, after Thanksgiving with my family, at Danaeris Annwfn's place doing school work. I have a 4500 word piece on farmers markets and environmental sustainability pretty well done. Which is good, 'cause I won't have time to go over it again before turning it in tomorrow. I have an approximately 2000 word essday on Dick Gregory's "Nigger: an Autobiography" done. I feel like it's kind of sloppy, but I can go over it again tomorrow before turning it in Tuesday. I did a quick 500 word paper on how I'm applying knowledge from my into to geography class. That was easy enough.
Tonight, I still have to do reading for class tomorrow, then create a lesson plan for my SI session tomorrow. The plan will entail going through the textbook and creating 50 minutes worth of lesson and discussion. That usually takes an hour and a half to two hours to do, so I hope to be in bed by midnight or one. At least I'll be getting up later than usualy tomorrow; I found the back tire on my bike is flat when I got home and I'm not going to try to deal with it tonight. Since I'm driving tomorrow, I can get up later.
