Photos of the Ruins at Palenque
Jul. 21st, 2014 09:51 pmI have sorted and posted my pictures of the Mayan ruins at Palenque.
I had about 600 to go through, and I feel like I could have been a bit more discriminating. Two-millenia-old ruins are a subject I'm not well acquainted with, and it's hard to tell what images really stand on their own vs the ones that are neat to me because I was there and am really into the history of built environments.
I feel a little bit remiss in not tagging all these photos with the name of the particular building or buildings in them, and doing a better job in general with the metadata. But, as with not giving them all individual editing attention, time is a factor. And that's a lot of photos!
Anyway, I feel very fortunate to have had the chance to see Palenque, and I hope you enjoy seeing my photos of the place. And there are a lot more where these came from, over on my Flickr photostream.
