GRE-week

I'm going to be pretty scarce anywhere other than here in front of my computer, studying for the GRE, until Thursday afternoon. Then I'll take a break to attend the gallery opening for a photography exhibit on androgyny and gender at Parkside and attend a panel discussion. Then I'm driving down to Danae's place where I'll continue to drill math, with a break for sleep, until my test on Friday.

Then? Who knows. Craziness! Board Games! Sushi! I haven't thought that far ahead. Likely, a lot of digging into school stuff that's been neglected while I prepare.

This was my first commute of the year in the dark. I stayed late to talk with a professor about grad school and things. It was fun, but I really need to get a dynamo-powered light. I emailed Peter White Cycles to ask whether their lights would be compatible with my 2.4 watt dynamo hub. The email I got back said that he had no idea. I kind of expected he'd research and let me know, but I guess not. Instead, I emailed the folks at Harris Cyclery (http://harriscyclery.net/) and got a note back the same day. I also need to get my Monkeylectric LED bar moved to my winter bike. I'll probably get to it next week.

I'm a Bit Scattered

Oh hey, I have an exam tomorrow. Good thing it's one I don't really have to study for, 'cause I totally forgot about it. I guess that goes along with my having totally forgotten an assignment due in my urban geography class today. Hopefully, the week will improve from here.
