Spring is here.

I have most of a draft of this paper done. I still want to work some more, as well as think more about the posters I'm doing. I'll get to that; I have this entire day to myself in a comfortable condo in Evanston. Miriam​ is out meeting with prospective students for her program. Her roommate is away. I have Soma FM playing on the stereo. I'm feeling really relaxed and productive.

But I just looked out the window and there is water running in a rivulet down the side of the building across the alley. Just flowing and flowing. It's over forty degrees out there and the snow is melting fast. I'm too excited about that to spend all day in here. I'm going to walk down to Lake Michigan.
