Father'd Day
Jun. 21st, 2015 11:26 pmI get stressy trying to organize large events. Or small events, really. Anything where I have to make decisions that affect a bunch of people. My dad, as well as other people, really helped make my graduation party a wonderful experience for me. As well as the gift certificate he let me use, he helped with organization and with other expenses incurred. It was thanks in large part to him that I was able to mostly relax and enjoy seeing and talking with people. On top of that, he bought tickets for Lisa and I to see the show being put on at one of the schools he teaches at, and helped out in getting glasses made for her this past weekend.
This kind of thing is so typical of my dad. He is always there. Always supporting, always reassuring, always caring. I don't have the ability to express how much he's done for me and how grateful I am for so many things over the years. I'm very fortunate to have him in my life, and I wish him a happy father's day. I love you Dad.

He's off with his theatre students to another major performance event tonight at one in the morning. Wish him a good run of shows and a safe and happy trip!
