Packing Up in Kenosha
Jul. 25th, 2015 02:09 pmFacebook thinks I might like to join groups focused on either, and these are next to each other, psychedelics and spirituality, or Captian Kangaroo episodes.

Danae has been kind enough to come to Kenosha with me for the weekend while I try to pack up everything I have there. By the end of the weekend, I want everything to be in boxes, either ready to put on the trailer, or tucked behind the walls upstairs where my parents are kind enough to let me store stuff. Someday the reckoning will come and I'll have to deal with all of it. But not yet.
I was feeling down last night. I tore a corner of my sheets as I was making the bed, and that tied into the fact that I will not be using this bed anymore after the weekend to make things seem very final. Danae cheered me up, another reason I'm glad for her presence here and in my life in general. Today has been pretty upbeat. I've made a lot of progress, enjoyed hanging out with my family, and soon friends are coming over for a board game break. My mother cleaned off the table to make room, and bought chips and dip and things. For my part, I'm going to break out the girl scout cookies I've been hoarding away since they were on sale!
