USA folks: this is what you get when you vote Republican, or refuse to vote because the Democrats are "just as
bad." Doing so is harming and killing people.

I want to make it very clear to USA folks: if you vote Republican, or choose not to vote in state and national elections because you think the Democrats are just as bad or whatever bullshit reason you have, I take that as a personal attack against me and people I love. Go away. I don't want to deal with you.

Please Play Before Driving 100 Miles

I went to a couple of thrift stores this morning with my parents, as early as possible to minimize other people. I was still anxious because it was more time spent indoors than over the past month or two combined.

But anyway, I found Tom Lehrer's "That Was the Year That Was," and I'm pretty excited about that. But I realized later that this even more...exciting?...45 had been stuck into the cellophane the album was wrapped in.

This 1977 single by an unknown Canadian artist will rock your world (if your world is centered on making sure that you are aware of discounts and insurance savings available to you as the purchaser of a new car in Canada in 1977). It's called "Please Play Before Driving 100 Miles." Just to hear this record, I set up my stereo and turntable temporarily on the floor of the living room and started it up.

Friends, I was amazed. If you travel back in time to 1977, visit Canada, and choose to buy a new vehicle, you *must* listen to this record.
