stormdogFor the first time this year, I've been able to spend more than a few minutes outside in my bare paws; that makes me happy.
It's amazing how much fur a dog can shed and still seem to have a full coat. I brushed Kuma as long as he would let me (about ten minutes this time) and dropped handful after handful of loose fur to the ground, yet he still looks as mangy as ever. I'll have to start brushing him more regularly now that I feel like going outside and doing it. No more giant furballs blowing around the living room like tumbleweeds in Tombstone.
I have Midnight, my utility and file sharing server, up and running. It's on a PIII 833 Compaq Deskpro EN. Eh; it's a computer. I'm just finishing up installation and update of XP on one of my N800 laptops. I have enough hard drives for about six more. After those are done, I'm going to give the ones I don't sell locally, along with whatever other parts I have lying aboug, to![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
serinthia to sell on commision for me. I know, I've been saying that forever, but I'm acutally making progress now. My computer room and bedroom are mostly clean too! The downstairs is a bit cluttered, but I don't think that's going to change significantly until after our garage sale, unless we actually do decide to start storing this stuff in the garage. I think that with all the rain we've had the last couple days, we'd need to get pallets to do that or everything will get damp from moisture seeping up from the floor.
Andrea and I are going to get Mexican buffet for lunch today, and I may stop at Lowe's or Menards and pick up materials for making my grappling hook.
What's everyone else doing this weekend? Got anything fun planned?
