stormdogI have a Compaq Proliant ML570 server. It has Quad Pentium III Xeon processers at, like 800MHZ. It's got about 2GB of RAM. It's got three redundant power supplies. It's got a bunch of hard drives; its full complement of 12. Most of them are 36.4GB, 10000 RPM SCSIs. It's pretty big; think mini-fridge sized. It's also relatively loud when powered on. There are a lot of fans in there. It has a fresh install of Windows Advanced Server 2000.
I do not need this server. It is taking up a lot of room in my house. I would like to sell it. If you are interested, please make me an offer. If you know anyone who you think might be interested, please let them know. I'm not looking for a lot for it; I know it's comparatively obsolete. However, it will also make a really good database server for applications that don't need top-of-the-line processing power. I'm willing to deliver to reasonable distances away.
Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?
Also for sale is an HP Procurve rack mount 10/100 ethernet switch with, if memory serves, forty ports in it in the form of five eight port cards with room for three more cards. It's a managed switch that can be divided into VLANs and all of that fun stuff. It has a fault light on it, but I think it's simply a bad fan. If anyone is interested let me know. I may actually to go Ebay with that since it's not too big to ship. The server just isn't worth the shipping.
The dead camera and the Philips Speechmike I have up on Ebay both have bids. And there was much rejoicing.
