Yes indeed; check this out.

Ok, it's not really burning water; application of a particular sort of RF radiation to seawater frees trapped hydrogen which can then be burned. But still; this is pretty amazing. There's nothing there yet to indicate whether more energy is produced than is expended in the generation of the RF radiation, but if there is....

Wow. I have visions in my head of a world where the water level of the ocean has dropped as people keep burning it for energy. I wonder if the electrolysed gases would reconstitue in the atmosphere as water and come back down in rain, or if most of the desconstructed water would just remain gases. What's the result of the chemical reaction of burning hydrogen again? Don't you end up with water vapor?
