stormdogSetting aside, for the moment, the matter of the new job, I just left a message for the owners of the Roosevelt about getting inside to take pictures. Hopefully I'll hear back soon and we can schedule something. This Sunday might be good, or sometime after work next week perhaps.
I'm going to see if I can get in touch with my grandfather today about going to visit after my doctor's appointment tomorrow. I don't often have a chance to go see them and I'd really like to talk to him and show him my pictures of the Forevertron. I've been really remiss in trying to schedule a time to go see that with him, so maybe I'll talk to Andrea about when our schedule permits and see if he wants to go with me a few weekends from now. This weekend and next are probably busy, but maybe then one after. I hope it's not too terribly cold by then.
I'm being more organized by trying to schedule things in my Outlook calendar at work and using the tasks feature to remind myself of things to do. I just wasn't keeping up with Google calendar. Maybe I should try that again too, but the Outlook one is more convenient for me, and more convenience equals more usage.
Posi; found out that the six sleds in my DEC tower at home actually have the 80 pin SCSI adapters in them. I realized they might after I looked and saw they were the same color as that other one. I took those four 72GB full heights and loaded them in my tower. I'm going to try spinning them up tonight. Since I don't have any more 72GB drives, I probably don't need that double-wide case. Do you still know someone else who'd like it?
