I am staying home at least this morning to go get checked out at the hospital. This morning marks four or five days with nausea, stomach pain, and lack of appetite, as well as a full seven days of some kind of sickness, starting with the fever and nasty chills on Thursday of last week that turned into the 102 degree fever on Saturday. The fever is gone, but my appetite has not yet come back. I ate a sum total of about four hundred calories yesterday and still don't feel like eating anything. That's pretty average for the last few days, and I'm down a couple pounds. Last night was another night spent almost entirely in bed.

I'm beginning to think I may have an ulcer, based on other symptoms.

I'm going to take a nice shower, then call the clinic when they open in half an hour or so and head over there.
