Seems to be a good week for losing things. Monday I thought I'd lost *I'm rephrasing this* what I've come to think of as my lady's favor, though she didn't originally intend it as such *grin*, a nifty little German Shepherd Dog pin that I've been wearing on my collar. After dismantling the bathroom drain late Monday/early Tuesday (I thought perhaps I had left it on the counter and my brother had knocked it down the sink), I realized that it had been sitting in plain sight on a book upstairs. I was very relieved. Losing that pin would distress me greatly.

And today I noted, as I was putting gas in the car (my mother's car) on the way to work, that I'd lost the gas cap last night when I was putting gas in to get home on. It was almost empty and I'd lost my wallet, so I borrowed a couple of bucks from the kind saagaadaa to get home on. *sigh* I must've been tired. I didn't get much sleep. Not that I need an excuse for losing things... At least I've got my wallet again.

Speaking of saagaadaa, I stopped at her apartment last night, along with the Dwarf, to fix her computer. Turns out she just had a bad disk that the floppy drive wouldn't read. It was nice to see her again, I just wish I didn't feel rushed as I do when stopping places after work. I'm not sure there's any one reason for that, I just wish I had more time in general.

Well, back to boredom work.
