Jan. 14th, 2008 08:55 pmThere was a brief suggestion of watching some Babylon Five tonight, but the raccoon seems to have fallen asleep. She wasn't feeling so well after dinner. Hopefully napping will help.
For my part, I've been a busy boy tonight. I posted my guitar and a server on Craig's list (and already have a nibble on the guitar!), and posted three hard drives and a Tipping Point network security appliance that work was getting rid of to Ebay. I really don't know how to sell this Tipping Point thing. I hope I didn't blow four bucks by setting that high a starting bid for it. I couldn't find any of them listed elsewhere on Ebay, but I know it was pretty darn expensive when new (like in the five-figure range). I also don't know if the hardware does any good without a software contract with the company, and how transferable such things are and whether it would make sense for someone to buy one of these without a company contract accompanying it. Oh well; we'll see how it goes.
And, since I was taking pictures of other techy things, here's a picture of me with the new specs. As I noted, the frame is copper instead of my usual black. I think it really brightens up my face, and Andrea says it brings out the green in my eyes, though you can't really see it in this light.

Anyway, I think I'm going to go shower, and then install Trillian for doing IM stuff while I balance the checking account again. *yawns* Quiet nights are really good sometimes.
