Mar. 6th, 2008 08:44 amI had a nice dinner with my parents, brothers, and Andrea last night. I got home early enough to mostly get the bathroom cleaned up and I took a nice long shower with a green tea candle burning. This morning, I put on freshly laundered, crisply blue jeans and one of my more comfortable work shirts. I'm wearing a few dabs of the orris root oil that I bought from one of the vendors at faire last year. It's been sitting in my medicine cabinet, but I don't use it much. I should; it smells like satyr. Or maybe fawn. I'm not quite sure which.
Oh, and
ankhorite sent me pictures of men in kilts. Yay!
I've been kind of stressed out since coming back from vacation, but I'm feeling a bit better today. It's neat how much a difference a clean space to get ready for the day in makes. If only the bathtub was big enough to soak in while reading a book by candlelight.
When we were looking for a house in Wisconsin, we didn't really have a wide range of choices, or much time to use in finding more options. When we move this time, we're going to have an actual list of requirements and hopes for it. One of the biggest for me will be a much bigger bathroom. Not terribly often, but once in a while, I get the urge to take a nice long bath. It would be so nice to be able to do it. It would probably even motivate me to scrub the tub more often!
I emailed a couple people last night about wanting to play Iron Dragon on Saturday, which it looks like is my plan for at least some of the day. If everyone who already expressed interest comes, that should be about five people, which is a pretty good number I think. If you're all still planning to attend, just let me know! I'm not very good at that whole cooking thing, but I can buy some good frozen pizzas and chips and stuff, and I'm hoping other people will contribute to supply munchies.
