I got home early today. I only worked a nine hour day. Heh. I'm actually going to have about 60 hours put in at the end of the week, since I'm going to be working Saturday. I'm sore and tired, but it's all worth it.
This morning was interesting, in the Chinese curse sense. I was driving just as I normally do (which I'll admit tends toward the faster side as far as these things go) and I got pulled over for speeding. The irony of this was that I was speeding up in anticipation of the increasing speed limit. I was on the southern edge of Kenosha and was stopped where the road transitions to a gentle county road from a rigid city street. The place I pulled over was literally about 20 yards from the posted increased limit. *sigh* I haven't gotten a speeding ticket in about 3 years. This was only my second one. Couldn't have picked a more inconvenient time for it either. *shrug* But what can one do? I angsted over it for a while and then decided that, it's here now and I'll just deal with it. Not worth stressing over. I'll just have to learn to not anticipate the limit changes. And life goes on.
Off to bed. Only two and a half weeks 'till I can see my celestial raccoon again...
