stormdogBusy busy! Spanning tree (802.1d and 802.1w)! PVST+! Port security! Whee! Will respond to LJ and email at lunch. Hopefully.
Our instructor has implied that even consumer grade home switches run spanning tree. I need to employ Google-fu and/or a packet sniffer to look for BPDU frames on my network to confirm this.
In the meantime, I have made the dangerous realization that, in the fridge in the break room marked 'please help yourself to the refreshments', there is a box in the freezer that's full of Otis Spunkmeyer chocolate chocolate chip cookie dough. Now that I know where the woman from the test center has been getting the dough, I just cut out the middle-woman. Oh, sweet, sweet frozen cookie dough....
