moiracoon just gave me my birthday presents even though it's a day early and she gave me a really awesome set of dragonfly windchimes (that are now hanging from the chandelier in my computer room 'till I find a better spot) and a really awesome leather bun-cover with hair sticks for my hair and a copy of a children's book called Puppies Are Like That that she keeps telling me about having read and how it makes her think of me! Yay!
But you know what else? She got me a copy of Nippon Rails!! And I'm so excited about it that I'm trying to write about in in LJ between short breaks to peel off load label stickers and stick them on the little plastic load marker chits! I want to play this with someone! Ooooh, I wish she didn't have to work tomorrow or I'd see if I could convince her to play a game. I'm going to see if I can get to Rockhead's soon to buy a clear plastic mat to put over the top to draw on so the map doesn't get marked permanently and to hold down the map itself since it's kind of curved from being in it's tube.

Then we went out for birthday dinner at Puerto Vallarta, which has all you can eat burritos on Thursdays! After I ate, I sang a little song about how it's my birthday and bobbed my head left and right, whereupon Moira said that we could put my hair in pigtails and give me a shiny pink tiara and we could traipse me around the room parties and tell everyone that it's my birthday! ...Well, perhaps not. *giggles*
So, wonderful stuff with Moira tonight, tomorrow's off work and spending a peaceful day withrileybear67 'till the hotel room is ready and we can drop off our stuff, and the weekend is Windycon! Plus on Sunday, I'm exploring an abandoned power plant with a few friends. Score!! It doesn't get much better in puplandia...
