When I got back home yesterday, my car doors wouldn't open. It's not that it was sitting there and the doors had iced over while I was away; oh no. I opened the door and got in on one Antioch, drove home, parked in the driveway, and couldn't open the doors. They're both jammed. It's not the locks; I can lock and unlock both of them, and they start to open a little bit, but then seem to get jammed on something. They wiggle back and forth, and I could definitely yank them open the rest of the way if I really wanted to, but I don't want to damage anything permanently. I had to climb out through the trunk, around my antenna lines and CD changer. I hope I can figure it out in the morning with some light. But seriously; what the hell? Both doors at once? I didn't hit anything. I didn't go over any big bumps. They just are stuck as if the frame around them is bent at some point. Posi thought that maybe ice and snow from the road was thrown up into the space around them by the tires as I drove, but I don't know if I buy it.

Work was long, though quiet enough that I got some stuff caught up. At the end of the day though, I started feeling ooky. A headache was coming on, and looking at any large white expanse on my monitors was enough to make my head hurt. Then I had a short spell of dizziness and got really nervous, though it didn't last long. I asked [livejournal.com profile] serinthia to drop me off at my parents house as I couldn't get into my car and wasn't sure I could walk (or drive for that matter, though that's kind of moot right now 'cause I'm not climbing back in through the trunk and my key doesn't work on it anyway) the distance if I needed to.

My mom, after I told her I'd eaten nothing but ramen today, diagnosed messed up blood sugar and fed me chili. That worked! Thanks mom; I love you.

I had Chinese buffet with Posi, Tybis, and Mallory today too, and that was nice. They're out at the Friday night coffee thing right now. I elected to stay home to watch the end of the auction on my lens. I also didn't feel like dealing with cold and lots of people and possible loud music. They're probably coming back here after though, so that'll be nice.

Since the lens seems to be going for more than I feel comfortable paying for it (Ouch! $320! *sigh*), I took a nice hot shower. Feeling all clean and shiny makes me happy. I am also wearing clothes that make me happy, and wearing my hair in a way that makes me happy. And then I put on some of my orris root oil from faire last year. I smell pretty! Apart from wishing for a little company, I'm content and peaceful being here with my kitties and my doggy.
