The show I ran last night was actually kind of neat. It was a programs of sixties era music, mostly stuff by Phil Ochs, performed by a guy named John Dachik. It was a benefit for amnesty international and was easy enough to run that I almost feel overpaid at $30 for the two hour program. Afterwards, since Kenosha had the tall ships in town this weekend and there was a lot of touristy stuff going on, there was a fireworks display that I and several of the theatre staff I've worked with for years watched from the roof of the theatre. I found myself often thinking that it would be a neat day to have had Andrea with me. We could've seen the ships, ridden the trolley, kissed in the dark under the fireworks... *daydreams*
I wore my new hair thing and my collar to the theatre, along with nice black jeans and a dressy black shirt with an embroidered rose and dagger design. I liked that look.

Having totally wiped my server clean and started over, I find that I am still encountering the same software problems. I can only assume there's a hardware glitch somewhere. I am now busy finding, downloading, and running hardware testing utilities, like

Heh. I have this picture in my mind of either a superhero who fights villians with his ability to recall inordinate amounts of embarrassing personal information about them, or perhaps some old west gunfighter who never forgets a face... "I'm Doc Memory, the fastest brain west of the Mississippi."

I ordered a birthday present for a certain raccoon from Amazon today. I should also point out, for anyone interested, that the date of the anniversary of our meeting is the 8th, rather than the 9th as I indicated before. I am kind of embarassed about this.

My brother and I are talking about going and giving plasma for money today. Heh. I feel so bohemian.
