Wildcat Canyon

stormdogI just want to post one of my favorite images from the weekend.
That's Wildcat Canyon at Starved Rock State Park, Illinois. As I noted, I plan to go back in the Fall when the trees are in full color, and maybe in January for eagle watching and iced-over waterfalls at the canyon heads. We shall see.

akreaveter's twenty-first birthday and a last get together for Jim and Lara who are moving to Lansing (though moiracoon and I will see them Wednesday for family dinner). It was a really nice time and I got to talk a bit about New York and show people pictures.
It is very late, and I must be up early so I am going to bed. I'll catch up with folks tomorrow. Take care all!
