stormdogAfter work today, I drove out to Antioch to meet up with ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
posicat, Mallory, and tybis. There's a large annual rummage sale out there that we tracked down, even though it moved to a different church this year. The other folks found some treasures too. For myself, I ended up with a late model M keyboard. Made in '95, it's jet black and has an integrated trackpoint and mouse buttons. I snapped it up for a dollah and am very pleased.
From there, we drove back to Kenosha and connected withallysinnia for food at King Buffet. I only ate one plate of food along with some soup, and that was plenty for me. Apparently I'm really in the habit of eating less these days. I got on the Wii Fit that my parents have today (for the first time in 270 days it told me) and found that I was down 13 pounds from that point. Coolness.
Since it turns out the pride parade is Sunday, I may have tomorrow free. I called Juan about getting his help, but haven't heard back. I'll try again tomorrow morning maybe. If he's busy, maybe I'll visit my grandparents. I haven't seen them in too long. I need to schedule a trip to see the Forevertron with grandpa. Yeah, I think I'll do that. And maybe I can catch Michelle while she's in town Saturday evening and night.
And tonight, I"m going to catch up on my accounts and edit some more pictures from DC. But before I do that:
I can't remember if I've posted this before. I shot it just a little over a year ago. It's the view looking northeast toward downtown Chicago from the roof of abandoned silos on the Sanitary and Ship Canal. I really need to get back here; it's breathtaking.
