stormdogWhat do you expect from your very local office holders like aldermen? Do you have any dealings with them at all? Do you know who they are? Do you feel like there should be a way for you to express your concerns to them directly? So you feel like they should have some sort of presence in their official capacity on the internet?
I've looked for a Facebook page for my local alderman here in Kenosha and it seemed rather less professional than I would expect for a public official. It would make more sense if there was an official one elsewhere and I was looking at his personal one, but there did not seem to be any note that it was a personal page or that there was a more public one elsewhere.

In other news, I think I'm going to skip seeing the world's largest cigar store Indian on my upcoming trip. It's a little out of the way, and close enough to Chicago that I can get it another time.
