stormdogSpeaking of things that make me feel grown up, while thrift-shopping with Lisa on Friday, I picked up some clothes.
My partners, especially Danae, have both been trying to convince me that my pants are too big. Danae has offered me some good advice on what colors work best with my own coloration. Keeping those things in mind, I got several new pairs of pants and some red button down shirts. I think they work pretty well. The pants are less baggy and fit better, and my hair and face look good against when put in the context of the red shirts.
I've never actually been excited about shopping for clothes to go back to school with in my life. This is perhaps because I was never excited about going back to school in years past. But I really like the way I look in the clothes I bought, and am kind of excited about wearing them more. This seems kind of superficial to me in some ways, but that doesn't stop me from enjoying the feeling.
