The Kenosha library system bought a couple of books with money from a collection taken up in memory of my grandfather. My mother brought them home to show to us. One is on blacksmithing theory and technique (Blacksmithing: hot techniques and striking projects by José Antonio Ares) and one is on welding (Welding Complete: techniques, project plans, and instructions by Creative Publishing International). They both have a simple memorial bookplate on the title page.
It makes me really happy that one of the ways my grandfather is memorialized is in books that teach things he knew, loved, and tried to teach to others himself.
