stormdogMy dad is being transferred to Saint Luke's today, and my mother is going up to visit him. I'm nervous for both of them in this horrible weather. I'm home myself because the UW-P campus was closed and both my last class of the day and my shift at the help desk were cancelled.
Be careful out there if you're dealing with snow like we have in Kenosha. It's pretty bad.

A friend on Facebook posted a link to the video below. Taking action like this is deeply controversial, I know. But as someone who participates in activity that frequently results in baseless harassment by police, security guards, and other officious people (photography), I think it's important to remember that you do have rights that such people are not going to inform you of. It's important to be aware of what they are so you can at least make an informed decision on whether you'll allow them to be violated for sake of the convenience of avoiding things like potential arrest.
