stormdogThe Cryptolocker virus apparently has crapped out a bunch of servers at school. They IT folks may have to restore as far back as the 18th. With finals coming up, and more importantly, term projects falling due, a lot of students are in dire straits.
This is another reason why I backup all of my important stuff on thumb drives as well as wherever I put it for accessibility (Drop Box mostly). I'm still glad that I've never found myself using the space provided on the school servers. Who knows if my stuff would have gotten infected.

posicat's talk about food over there won't lead to me accidentally writing about how the Nuer incorporate Frisco Burgers into their subsistence practices. *is hungry*
