Selected photos from Dubuque!

More, including a funicular railroad, a huge Victorian house, and a very unusual terra cotta cornerstone, behind

Looking up at a late 19th century facade in Dubuque, Iowa.

A large Victorian house in Dubuque, Iowa.

This unusual terra cotta cornerstone caught my eye. I can't think of anything else I've seen that's quite like it.

The Fenelon Place Elevator is a late 19th century funicular railroad listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is functional and open to the public.

And there are even more at my Flickr page, should you want to see them.
