Clinic Visit, Dog

stormdogI declared today a sick day and went to bed, planning to get up at 10:30. I was up about 1:30 and took a trip out to the clinic after getting some food. The nurse looked me over and said that it might be clogged eustachian tubes. I have some decongestant medication (generic Robitussin) as well as pseudoephedrine tablets to take a few times a day for a few days.
I also made an appointment to talk to a counselor in the first week of February. Having finally decided to stop worrying about doing so, I feel good about that.
I bought the household dog, Wonka, a toy at Big!Lots on the way home. He's being really cute with it. I think he wants to be in his 'den' (a corner of my parents' room) to keep it safe, but he also wants to be out with people. He keeps walking back and forth from one spot to the other, spending a minute or two there before moving again. I love that dogs get so happy about such simple things.
