Grandma! What Clean Teeth I have!

stormdogThis has been a low-productivity day. I got out to see my grandmother and aunt, which was really nice! I showed Grandma pictures from Texas and talked with her for a while. She took me out for lunch, which was tasty! However, while eating my french onion soup, I swallowed something that stuck in and scraped the lower part of my esophagus in a really unsettling way. I've felt a bit bit strange ever since, so I'm a bit worried that I swallowed something I shouldn't have. Hopefully it will all come out in the end, so to speak.
I didn't get much done other than that, unless you count showering and a long-overdue shave. Still, that makes a big difference, and I'm feeling better. I'm giving Danae ride early tomorrow morning for an appointment, then I'm going to do things! Productive things! Yay!
Danae's mother bought her (and thus, us) a two-pack of electric toothbrushes from Costco in Canada. It's taken some getting used to; I have to remember to not turn it on before inserting it in my mouth for instance. And to turn it off before removing it. My, but those things can fling toothpaste a long way! But I I feel extra clean once I've used it. I joked that I'll be like one of those "Extra Clean!!" cars described in used car ads.
I spent a chunk of time this evening listening to the third book in the Iron Druid series with my partner too. That probably helped improve my mood too.
