Jan. 11th, 2005 10:21 amOne of my rare forays into the meme world This just seemed nifty. To give credit where credit is due, I saw this in
sideband's journal.
January--
I spent, between today and yesterday, about 8 hours organizing our book collection. All the sci-fi/fantasy paperbacks are together on their own shelves, all the hardcover/unusual sci-fi/fantasy has another shelf, all the non-fiction has a section, historical, modern, or speculative fiction has a section, there's a classics section, a children's section, a philosophy/spiritualty section, a myth/folklore section, an erotica section... *smiles*
February--
We're back home! I will write more about Capricon later. (I think.) At the moment I just want to go collapse in bed with my mate.
March--
I went to a seminar today at the New Horizons Center in Troy. That's a computer skills training center. Now that I'm finally getting hired full time at my job (Yes! I've been trying to find out details since Friday 'cause the guy's never in his office/not busy, but I will talk to him about it tomorrow) I'm seriously attempting to start going to school.
April--
I had one of the most direct dreams I can remember a few nights ago.
May--
Quick update time! Yes, that's right. From me. Uh huh.
The weekend was mostly good. Andrea and I had a realy nice time at the Oasis and have become even more convinced that, at some point when we have a house of our own, said house requires a hot tub.
June--
I'm not quite sure where to begin. It's been too long since I've sat and written here. Again. *sigh* I thought I'd have more time this week since I'm off school. One would think I would learn...
July--
I hope to have time to write about the weekend at some point soon. In the meantime, does any of my readership who will be at my wedding have the skill to braid hair like the picture behind the cut?
August--
wooisme and I were up in Traverse City this weekend. I have a great deal of writing to do, none of which will most likely get done tonight because it's late and I need to do a few things around here. But we're back! I intend to post a good number of things this week since I'm off of school; watch this space...
September--
I just got my drug screen out of the way for the job I'm starting in two weeks. Yay. I mailed the 10 thank you cards I wrote yesterday too. Andrea is going to take care of the remaining ones since they're people she knows better than me.
October--
I finally have my new truck all set with registration and insurance after an ordeal that would make Hercules proud.
November--
The first hint of dawn in the sky as I drove to work this morning reminded of how elated I was at this time last year.
December--
I've managed to get six extra hours of work so far this week. I'll take extra hours whenever I can get them. Working an eight hour day at the call center on Tuesday really wasn't too bad either except for the fact that I didn't get lunch in.
